The process-control chain
- Incoming: inspection of PC/ABS resins, light sources and electronics
- Molding and coating: first-article approval, patrols and film-thickness monitoring
- Assembly: air-leak testing, light-up aging and 100% appearance checks
- Shipment: dark-room photometric sampling and batch record archiving
Records buyers should request
Ask for incoming inspection reports, in-process patrol records, air-leak and photometric data, and shipment sampling reports. A mature factory provides these per batch; if a link cannot be traced, the risk concentrates exactly where you cannot see it.
Writing the quality chain into the contract and the record requirements into the acceptance standard is the most economical way to control lamp-related risk.
